Scholarships! 2 new announcements … you will need to “gear up” this process in January!

GT Students:  Please use the holidays to make sure you know which scholarships you will be applying for and that you have set up people to write you reference letters (if you don’t already have them).  Please think about the criteria of each scholarship and think how you will write a cover letter to emphasize your accomplishments and skills that meet the criteria.  In January, please attend GT classes to find out more about the whole process.  In the meantime, 2 new items in:  one is the Shulich Leader Award (has been posted in the regular school announcements and now in the Scholarship section under “January”.  Ms. Griffin needs to get the nomination in before January 13th!  The other is the BCIC Young Innovator Scholarship (if you are into Science and Technology) and involves entering Science Fairs (talk to your Science teachers about this!).
