Paper copies of all assignments are available in class. If you have lost your copy, were absent, or would like to get ahead, please download the files. Be sure to show your teacher your assignments as you complete them. When an assignment has been checked off by your teacher, place it in the appropriate section of your GT12 portfolio.
The Career and Life section of your portfolio should be marked off with a divider. See your Career and Life info sheet for details about things which may be included in this section. Your mandatory assignments are:

Financial Plan | You must come up with a financial plan for your life after graduation. You will probably need to discuss this assignment with your parents. CLICK HERE to download the worksheet you will need to complete this assignment. | |

Current Resume | There are many resources on the internet to help you compose your resume. As well, MS Word has ready-made templates. Be sure not to use the exact same resume that you created in grade ten. You should have more skills and experience to add. As well, this should be a more “polished” version from MS Word, not your grade 10 Career Cruising resume. Drop-in Fridays are a great day to pop in and ask your GT teacher to review your resume with you. You’ll probably need to turn in at least two or three drafts.Be sure to use “action verbs” to list your skills and accomplishments. Short on verbs?? Never fear!
